I’m a software engineer.

I’ve had a long career in big tech, having worked at Microsoft and Facebook. Most recently, I was the CTO of Audere, a small, non-profit startup. There, I led the development of HealthPulse AI, a suite of AI-powered tools that improve rapid diagnostic testing in some of the world’s most under-served communities.

I left Audere at the end of Q1 2023 to spend a dedicated chunk of time studying AI fundamentals. I’m trying to learn AI from the math up, and this blog is where I plan to document the interesting ideas I encounter along the way.
